O Shot in Houston, TX

It may be simple urine-releasing sneeze that makes you avoid certain social settings. It may be vaginal dryness that makes you avoid painful sex. It may be diminishing clitoral sensation that extinguishes your libido. You are far from alone.

So many women are convinced that childbirth and menopause have irreversibly altered their vaginal structure and sensation. They're wrong.

Vaginal looseness, loss of sensation, and urinary incontinence are debilitating changes you don't have to live with. You can enjoy your exercise routine, lifelong hobby, and passionate sexuality long past middle age without taking risky urinary incontinence medication - as long as you nurture your ever-evolving female topography.

That's exactly why we offer the O-shot (orgasm shot).

This non-surgical regenerative injection may stimulate the growth of new vaginal tissue, regenerate muscle, and increase vaginal sensitivity. And, it's an inpatient procedure - so there's minimal downtime and no hospital stay.

For over two decades Dr. Thompson has been treating women's sexual health. He's done plenty of research and is convinced that the O-Shot is the most effective non-surgical treatment for vaginal rejuvenation, orgasm enhancement, and urinary incontinence. It's also the best lubricant for post-menopausal dryness.

The Journal of Women's Healthcare published a study in which 90% of participants reported resolution of their urinary stress incontinence, and 94% were satisfied with the increases in their sex drive after getting the O-shot. By delivering all-natural platelet-rich plasma this non-invasive therapy can naturally regenerate your vaginal tissue.

The sexual health specialists at Texas Center for Lifestyle Medicine understand women's life stages. They're happy to explain the O-Shot's transformative power. For a thorough, holistic, compassionate consultation, call the Texas Center for Lifestyle Medicine at (713) 690-1991 or contact us here.

What causes urinary incontinence and low libido in women?

So many frustrated women find themselves wondering: “Why do I leak urine all the time?” As the tissues of your urinary tract age, the muscles and nerves that hold and release urine - especially when strained - gradually loosen. This incontinence is quite common, but women experience it twice as often as men do, especially during pregnancy and menopause.

Despite what you may have heard about menopause and climaxing from your mother, orgasm can be just as vibrant in your new life stage. You may need to revive your libido, though.

Low libido can be the result of:

  • hormonal changes: menopause, pregnancy, and breastfeeding can alter your hormone levels and cause vaginal dryness, making sex more painful than pleasurable
  • illness: high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, and neurological conditions can squelch sex drive
  • medications: pharmaceuticals like antidepressants are known to diminish sex drive
  • lifestyle: long-term overuse of alcohol or heroin, cocaine, or methamphetamines can lower your sex drive
  • surgery: procedures done on the breasts or genitals can affect anatomy or body image, reducing sex drive

You don't need a doctor to tell you that if you have extreme anxiety over work, kids, your body image or your sexual performance, or if you're depressed over unresolved conflicts and offenses your libido will suffer. But those are the very moments when you most need sex - to release endorphins, help you sleep, and bond you with your partner through thick and thin.

Past sexual abuse or traumatic sexual experiences, and even the mistrust of your partner must be resolved with therapy or spiritual healing before you can address the physiological barriers to sexual enjoyment. Communicate the need for more foreplay, or specific sexual preferences to your partner before seeking treatment. You'll know when you're ready for a medical intervention.

Dr. Thompson treats women when they are ready to be treated. Then, he offers the O-shot.

How does the O-shot work?

It all begins with a vial or your own blood - which contains red cells, white cells, and platelets. The platelets are essential for blood clotting and contain vital proteins called growth factors. PRP, the special serum produced from your own blood contains: vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), fibroblast growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-?1), hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).

Platelet-rich plasma contains many more platelets than are found in a typical blood sample. Platelet concentration (and growth factors) can be up to ten times greater than that of usual blood samples. This rich, all -natural serum can:

  • promote soft tissue cell regeneration
  • control inflammation
  • strengthening your vaginal muscles
  • increasing your vaginal and clitoral sensitivity

Studies show that PRP's powerful regenerative properties may also improve your nerve and vascular function by promoting the production of collagen, fatty tissue, and blood vessels.

As these growth factors stimulate soft tissue cell regeneration and the creation of new blood vessels, they structurally support your urethra and volumize your vaginal texture, to treat:

  • decreased clitoral sensation
  • inability to orgasm (anorgasmia)
  • painful intercourse (dyspareunia)
  • vaginal dryness due to menopause or other causes
  • vaginal skin atrophy
  • low libido
  • urinary incontinence

The procedure

Unlike surgical procedures, your O-Shot is quick, minimally invasive, and virtually pain-free. First, you'll meet with our sexual health experts to discuss your medical history, your current health, and your expectations. It's important to list all the medications you're taking, as they can affect your procedure's safety and effectiveness.

On the day of your procedure, a skilled technician will draw a blood sample which is then spun in a centrifuge, separating the white and red blood cells from the platelets and creating a serum: your platelet-rich plasma.

Our sexual health specialists will apply a potent topical numbing agent to your genital area to provide a very comfortable experience.

Your growth factor serum will be poured into a syringe. Then, guided by state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging, Dr. Thompson will gently and strategically inject it into the periurethral spaces of your vaginal muscles and clitoris.

From blood draw to conclusion, your procedure should take no longer than 30-45 minutes. You can even get your O-Shot during your lunch break, as many women do. You may return to your regular daily activities immediately.

You should see results within 1-3 weeks. The effects may last up to a year. And because it's performed right here in our private, luxurious office suite, you'll be safe, comfortable, and nurtured by a compassionate practitioner you trust.

Why we choose O-Shot for vaginal rejuvenation

The benefits of this powerful yet non-invasive treatment are many. Our patients often tell us they appreciate this procedure because it's:

  • quick and easy: your procedure takes no longer than 30-45 minutes, including prep time
  • all-natural: no artificial implant materials that can cause allergic reactions or get damaged, requiring another surgery (and more cost)
  • non-surgical: no incisions, scarring, anesthetic, hospital stay, or long recovery time
  • autologous: PRP is created from your own blood, so there's no risk of allergic reaction or infection from a donor blood sample
  • one and done: virtually no risk of error that would require further treatment
  • strong and effective: high success and satisfaction rates make the O-Shot one of today's most popular vaginal enhancement procedures
  • long-lasting: your results may last up to a year; some patients report permanent effects
  • safe: over half a million PRP procedures have been performed worldwide, and very few patients report side effects

The O-shot is designed to give you greater control over your urinary functions as well as heightened vaginal and clitoral sensitivity. Many women are thrilled to report a revitalized libido, reduced pain during sex, and improved body image.

Although some patients see results within a day or two, it typically takes weeks to gain the O-shot's full benefit, which may last several months or up to a year - for some, it can be permanent.

As with any medical treatment, results will vary from patient to patient, depending on age, genetics, environmental conditions, and other health factors. Tobacco users may not experience the full range of O-shot benefits.

Any injection procedure may produce these mild side effects for a day or two:

  • bruising, swelling, tenderness, pain, or redness at the blood draw site
  • bruising, swelling, tenderness, pain, or redness at the injection sites
  • slight burning or discomfort in the vaginal area
  • temporary skin discoloration
  • infection (rare)

If you experience severe pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, infection, or any other concerning side effects, don't wait--contact our medical professionals at (713) 690-1991.
