Trauma does not just live in the mind and thoughts—it is expressed through the body. The tightness you feel in your chest, the tension in your neck, raised shoulders, hormone imbalance, treatment-resistant insomnia... unresolved trauma can take on many forms in the body by either exacerbating existing issues or creating problems all on its own.

Signs You May Be Stuck in a Fight-Flight-Freeze Response

  • Feeling overwhelmed, trapped, or unable to move forward

Geny Moreno, our mind-body medicine practitioner, is offering her highly sought-after 8-week course designed to help you process and release trauma stored in your body.

Geny will walk you through techniques that stimulate the right side of the brain, but ultimately bring you back to your heart and body—where true healing is needed.

What You'll Experience

Share and Hold Space
Share your story while holding space for others. Participate in the healing of others while allowing yourself to heal in a supportive community environment.

Somatic Release
Allow emotions to surface, be processed, and released through guided practices in a safe space. These powerful techniques help release trauma stored in the body.

Presence and Mindfulness
Come back to your body in a chaotic world. Practice mindfulness that will bring restoration to your nervous system and calm to your body.

Program Details

Two sessions available:

  • Tuesdays at 1:30-3:30 PM in person at TCLM starting April 8th
  • Wednesdays at 10 AM-12 PM in person at TCLM starting April 9th

Duration: 8 consecutive weeks
